Some jewelry I have made recently to stock :)

It always gives me a great sense of accomplishment when I finish a project, and I am very proud of these gorgeous socks I finished for Pieter. Now to find some pink sock yarn and knit Aubrey some and then do some for Micah! Everyone wants a pair now!

Since my back surgery in November, I have been knitting socks since I have to lie down for much of the day. I finished my first pair for me - and will have someone photograph me soon with them :) But here is sock #3 - the first of a pair for Pieter. He loves it! A better photo should follow when I have the pair complete.

Earlier this month Aubrey spent the night at her friend Emmaleigh's house. So last night Emmaleigh spent the night here and the girls had such a blast. From dressup, to makeup, to a movie and pizza. Does it get any better than that?

And it was grand! We loved being together with family, meeting little nephew Connor, and were sad to say goodbye to Uncl e Gary and Auntie Rachel before they moved to Seattle. We mostly took videos this year but here are a few photos: Micah and the tree, Micah, cousin Connor and Auntie Ang, Micah asleep after gifts, Aubrey chillin' by Micah after opening gifts, and Daddy helping Pieter with his new telescope. Also, photos of Micah's new sweater knit by Grams, and Aubrey's "Penny the Pony." Some very loved gifts!

The kids at Aubrey's preschool get to dress up like people from the Nativity one day in December. All of this kids love it as you can see from the photos :)

I've tried to blog before but haven't kept up at it. Here goes another try... Wish me luck!
