Oh What a Night!

Friday night, we were going to take Aubrey and 3 of her best friends to Libby Lu http://www.clublibbylu.com/ - her choice for a birthday party. Unfortunately one friend was sick and I just took 3 girls to the mall. About halfway through our session of makeup and hair, Aubrey's best friend, Emmaleigh, had a seizure. She let her head back, screamed, and then her eyes rolled back into her head. She couldn't respond to me for almost 2 minutes. I called 911, Pete, Emmaleigh's mom and held her trying to get her attention. She then threw up and came to a little bit but was very lethargic and out of it. An ambulance and Em's mom came and they took Em to the hospital. She'd doing ok now but they are not sure what happened so they will be doing an EKG and EEG to see if they can find anything. All prayers for this little 4.5 year old sweetie are much appreciated!

    Update on Emmaleigh. They think she had a febrile seizure from her fever but still are unsure. They've done an EEG and EKG now just to rule anything else out but they don't have the results yet. She's otherwise healthy.

Sleep vastly improved!

I can now stay up most nights until 9 and wake up at 7 feeling refreshed! This is HUGE! I still don’t do much during the day due to pain, but I feel hope inside and not constantly covered by a cloud of depression. I feel some anxiety that the treatment isn’t going to help the pain (maybe it is an underlying condition that a dr needs to get on top of? Or maybe I am just too sensitive?) But my anxiety is down to like a 3 from a 8-9 which is wonderful and my depression is down to zero from an 8-9. Thank you God! Thanks Nick for sticking with me and not giving up. I feel like I’m getting my life back! I’m still hoping to figure out this hand tingling and pain (again maybe pinched nerves in my neck too which we know are there, I’ve had hand tingling on and off for years this is just worse the last few days and I don’t know why, ketamine should decrease not increase pain.) I’m such an odd duck. 🤦‍♀️
