It's been quite the week. I did end up getting stuck in the driveway again. Spent a lot of time and effort trying to dig and rock it out. My awesome neighbor who helped me with the septic plug and the auger, practically pick up the front end of my Aztek to rock it out into the street. Then he proceeded to plow my driveway for me. We do have the best neighbors.
The my-life-is-too-exciting-please-stop-the-ride part is that I helped shovel some and had an asthma attack. I'm on restriction to NEVER shovel again, as has always been my doctor's rule since my back fusion. I came inside feeling lightheaded and barely catching my breath, and just kept getting worse so I could barely move. Heroine Aubs went and got the neighbor who was plowing and they called 911, found my inhalers, stayed with me until the paramedics and police came (embarrassing!!), and she gave them all my info. She even pulled all of my RX meds out of the cupboard for them when they asked what meds I take. My O2 was dangerously low when they got there and my HR crazy high. Sigh. They watched and waited and my levels did get better after the inhalers and then they has me me try some tests, sitting, standing, walking with the pulse/ox on, and then said they could transport me to the ER but it was up to me. When they first came I said no hospital and first they said yes hospital. But after my levels were better they let me sign a waiver to not go. Points of story: no shoveling, Aubs is a hero.
Next morning my neck was in crazy amounts of pain and parts of my arms and hands were numb and tingly. Throughout the day it got worse and worse and I tried my darnedest to deal but gave in at 8pm nod had Pete take me to the ER. Bp was 181/106 I think, I know the bottom is right. Anyway it was high from the pain. PA thought it was either a strain/sprain or a disc issue- bulging, herniated, or nerve issue. Gave me pain meds that didn't help so I took sleeping pills to sleep and we just have to let it heal most likely.
Aubs tells me I write too long status updates and this is like writing the journal of my life. So that's about it. LOL
