For ME: Don't underestimate.

I'm really struggling today worrying and having anxiety about the upcoming week, without Pete here and without my parents here. I will be taking care of the kids mostly on my own, but my church will be bringing us meals every evening and I am extremely appreciative of that.
To their credit, my parents did try to help me decide if pushing back the surgery a few weeks would be more helpful, since then they will be back. But for a handful of reasons this is the better time to do this and it is  just going forward as it is.
Anyway, the point of this post is what keeps going through my head even as the anxiety tries to overwhelm me.
From my current favorite song, from my mantra song currently, the quote:
"Don't underestimate the God we follow."
Not all my friends who read this believe in God or any god, and I'm not trying to offend any of you. You all know how much I love you. This is a reminder for me. This reminds me not to underestimate what I trust in and not to underestimate the faith I have.
Romans 8:28
Trusting... through the fear.

Sleep vastly improved!

I can now stay up most nights until 9 and wake up at 7 feeling refreshed! This is HUGE! I still don’t do much during the day due to pain, but I feel hope inside and not constantly covered by a cloud of depression. I feel some anxiety that the treatment isn’t going to help the pain (maybe it is an underlying condition that a dr needs to get on top of? Or maybe I am just too sensitive?) But my anxiety is down to like a 3 from a 8-9 which is wonderful and my depression is down to zero from an 8-9. Thank you God! Thanks Nick for sticking with me and not giving up. I feel like I’m getting my life back! I’m still hoping to figure out this hand tingling and pain (again maybe pinched nerves in my neck too which we know are there, I’ve had hand tingling on and off for years this is just worse the last few days and I don’t know why, ketamine should decrease not increase pain.)
